Update #3The Dillinger Escape Plan vocalist Ben Weinman spoke to Metal Injection about the accident and the extent of their injuries – read what he said in the excerpt below.

“Everyone is alive, a few injuries, but it could be much worse. He explained that the bus was hit from the back, with the truck smashing through their gear before continuing to plow into the bus itself. The impact was serious and banged them up pretty good. The whole situation sounds horrific.”


Update #2: None of the musicians were seriously hurt – have been taken to hospital for further tests. Law enforcement are now investigating the circumstances of the accident.

Reportedly – the vehicles were moving in the same direction – according to LENTA. It appeared that at least two of the passengers had to be air lifted to hospital.

Original Post: A police spokesperson (in Poland) has confirmed that 13 people have been rushed to hospital following a serious accident – involving tour bus.

The tour bus was transporting The Dillinger Escape Plan to a show in Krakow, Poland. As the title suggests, the band’s tour bus collided with a truck.

At the moment, the conditions of the band members are not clear. What has been confirmed that there were no fatalities involved in the accident.

The show in Krakow has been cancelled – due to the accident.
