Attila vocalist Chris Fronzak shared (via Twitter) a tender, emotional and heartbreaking moment which took place during the band’s meet and greet yesterday.

A woman attended the band’s show give Fronzak a gift that he will carry with him for the rest of his life – *carry it with pride*.

The woman (mentioned above) was the mother of a hero (American soldier) who tragically lost his life in combat in Iraq back in 2007.

The heroes mother handed Fronzak her son’s military tag – read Fronzak’s relating tweet in full below.

“A lady at our meet & greet handed me this today. Her son died in Iraq. I’m going to keep this with me during every concert! RIP homie”

“Army Pfc. Matthew C. Bowe was killed on February 19th, 2007 while serving his country in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Bowe and two other soldiers, Sgt. Shawn Dunkin and Pfc. Adare Cleveland, were killed when they encountered an improvised explosive device.” RockFeed
